P37: Evaluating software resources produced as a collaboration between a learning support assistant and a content developer
Author: Pauline Blade, Learning Support Assistant (LSA), Furze Infants School, Barking and Dagenham
Date: 2005
This follow-up report to P36/G6 researches a group of Year 2 children's responses and outcomes of using tailor-made catch-up maths software. The LSA observed the children working during the first two sessions in which the software was used and noted down some of their comments. Using laptops and the software motivated the children, who held their concentration for longer than usual. Improvements for the future were also identified.
