Summary
Jackie reflects on the school's experience of the ICT Test Bed project, particularly how it has helped them to gain recognition as a Centre of Excellence for children with Special Educational Needs.
Action
ICT has been used both in the classroom and as an administration tool within the school. This helped the school in its mission to undertake the Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM).
Outcomes
ICT has been used very successfully both as a learning aid and an administration tool. SATs results have improved significantly for children with SEN, while children's academic records are held electronically and are easily accessible by all school staff.
